Great blades for the price December 16, 2008 Thomas Sobeck (Atlanta, GA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I bought these wiper blades based on the recommendation of consumer reports. They were listed as a CR Best Buy based on the testing done amongst their employees. I entered in my make and model and Amazon did the rest. I bought the wiper blades in a set that could have causeed an issue. The recommended set had an extra inch on the rear wiper blade. Not a problem for me being it was on the back but could have caused issues on the front. Double check the size of the blade when in the shopping cart. I have had the blades about 6 weeks now with no issues and clear views.
Nice Blade But Watch Sizing October 27, 2009 Quentin Deverill (Philadelphia, PA United States) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This is a really nice wiper blade. Easy to install. Nice and smooth on the wiping action...no chittering here.
My one disappointment is the recommended size was too small for my 2006 Honda CRV. Every other manufacturer recommends a 20" blade on the passenger side. Anco goes with 19". I hem and haw and order the 19" thinking they must 'know' their blades. Unfortunately, I should have trusted my instincts and gotten the 20". The 19" is a bit on the short side. I can live with it since it's the passenger side but I will order 20" next time.
Great wiper at a great price August 20, 2009 J. Lomax (Chicago, IL) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have purchased these for the past few years for our vehicles, and never had an issue installing, removing or using them. The actual wipe was only slightly smaller than factory oem blades, but considering costs, it is easy to get past that. Also, I actively use Rain-X and the wiper works well in combination (if needed).
Great Bang for the Buck Delivered to Your Door - Saves GAS! November 3, 2009 VQT (NoVa) Hands down these are the best bang for the buck performance increase I did for my car this year.
I bought the 19" & 21" to replace my previous Trico blades that supposedly had a lifetime warranty & was on it's last leg after nearly 2 years.
I have found blades don't last that long esp. in 4 seasons outdoor conditions.
Therefore, it makes no sense to buy more expensive blades when they don't show a clear definitive advantage!
As for these Anco 3100 series - for a combine $10 for both, out of the box, I feel like that dirt & smear fog has been lifted from my windshield.
Yes, it's only been a couple of weeks, but it's not like I have to justify paying 3x that for something that wipes just as good as the pricier brands.
I highly recommend these. as I said - BANG FOR THE BUCK!
Low price wipers are good enough. March 15, 2010 Tony Chinn (Seattle, WA USA) If you are going to change wipers once or twice a year, I found the cheap ones are plenty good enough. The teflon blades and other fancy blades are not good enough to justify their much higher price. I think the difference in performance is minimal if any. Can you tell which wiper you have by looking only at how it performs? I found that you can tell old from new if the old ones are really old but that's it. I hate going to the auto parts store to look up wipers in a book or electronic device, then being unable to find your wiper on the shelf because it is not stocked or the item is sold out or the price is outrageously high. At Amazon, you can find the part, check to see if it will fit your vehicle, find the price, and compare the prices all in the comfort of your computer station at home. These Amazon prices are way cheaper than the local auto parts store plus Amazon delivers. I bought three sets of ANCO 31 series wipers (I have three different vehicles.) for $35.25, shipping and handling were included. At the auto parts store, you would be lucky to get one set of wipers for that price. Just don't wait until you have a broken wiper that requires immediate replacement.
